Today, innovation in automotive electronics is found mainly in the software area. This entails providing electronic control units (ECUs) with updated software along the vehicle manufacturer’s entire value-adding chain – from development to production and service. The necessary reprogramming  is a complex, time-consuming process. In addition, coping with heterogeneous bus systems in vehicles, particularly CAN and FlexRay, is challenging.

Our EB ECU Refueller provides a solution for reprogramming (flashing) electronic control units. It supports this both for the established CAN standard as well as for the future-oriented FlexRay standard. Simulating the ECU cluster is a basic prerequisite for reprogramming bare, non-networked CAN- / FlexRay-based ECUs. This cluster emulation requires specific expertise as well as special hardware and software. Our EB ECU Refueller helps you emulate the cluster according to OEM specifications. This significantly reduces the complexity of ECU reprogramming.
