Generating ODX flash container made easy

Electronic control units (ECUs) require uniform software logistics to ensure that updates are readily available and can be installed effortlessly. The necessary logistics information as well as the actual software update are bundled together into  a flash container. This allows uniform logistics throughout the entire OEM value-adding chain (development, production and service).

Our EB Flashbuilder helps you to create flash containers according to the ASAM Open Diagnostic Data Exchange (ODX) standard easily. It comes with a graphical wizard that automates all the necessary creation steps from object code to the finished ODX container. Our EB Flashbuilder makes creating software updates easy. You don’t need special knowledge on Extensible Markup Language (XML) or ODX  it already encapsulates the various variants of an ODX container.

In addition to the user-controlled configuration, EB Flashbuilder can also be integrated into automated build processes to automatically generate containers from previously created configurations. EB tresos Flashbuilder is ready for future ODX container requirements of the Volkswagen group and already provides support for flash data security and compression (LZSS).
