EB 2100

FlexRay, CAN and LIN bus interface hardware

Our powerful stand-alone interface hardware EB 2100 allows for an inexpensive start with cluster emulation. It has been developed for use at the office, in contrast to its automotive grade counterpart, EB 61×0. We were able to reduce its manufacturing costs by streamlining it towards this particular use case.

Inexpensive FlexRay, CAN and LIN interface

The EB 2100 offers the same hardware interfaces as its automotive counterpart, the EB 61×0, plus two additional CAN channels. In total, the EB 2100 features two FlexRay, four CAN and two LIN channels.

The main difference compared to the EB 61×0 is that the EB 2100 is a purebred developer interface-hardware for use at the office. It comes in a light-weight casing and uses standardized Dsub-9 connectors for bus- and I/O-connections. The connection to the PC  is based on standardized connectors as well, USB and Ethernet. The tolerable temperature ranges from 0 to +50 degree Celsius.

A 400 megahertz CPU provides the same amount of processing power as our other hardware variants do, namely the EB 61×0 and EB 5100. That is why even applications that require lots of performance can be computed directly on the hardware. This also allows you to switch from one EB hardware-interface to another.
