Gateway and FlexRay cluster emulation
Building complex automotive networks based on the determinstic FlexRay bus system requires you to put to the test not only the logic properties of the ECU but also the physical signal transmission.
The focus lies on the behavior of particular ECUs regarding errors, interferences or time lags during the signal transmission. Further use cases also require you to synchronize and manipulate data between two separate FlexRay networks. Up till now, this has not been possible without interfering with the ECU itself. Our FlexRay to FlexRay gateway now allows you to manipulate data on its way from the ECU to the bus system and vice versa. This gateway is available as an add-on to our cluster emulation tool EB tresos Busmirror. Learn more about data manipulation in the technical article published in the German magazine Automobil Elektronik.
